Moray Friends of the Earth is a local group of Friends of the Earth Scotland. We campaign on local environmental issues throughout the Moray area and for the implementation of environmental justice and progressive sustainable development both locally and nationally through our links in Friends of the Earth Scotland.
FoE Scotland AimsFriends of the Earth Scotland is an independent Scottish charity. We stand for environmental justice which means a decent environment for all without using more than our fair share of the world's resources. We aim to make the right to a decent environment available to everyone in Scotland and around the globe. We are:
For over 25 years Friends of the Earth Scotland has been successfully campaigning for a better environment for all. We have successfully championed initiatives in Scotland which are bringing about renewable energy, better public transport, less pollution, cleaner rivers and beaches, greater accountability from companies and freedom of information. We are tackling issues which cause real public concern like climate change, nuclear power, GM crops, the need for reduction of waste and traffic, opencast mining, and the eradication of fuel poverty. |
